This wonderful vintage wall pocket has two lovely and very large strawberries with leaves and a stem. The strawberries rest against a piece of fruit that I believe might be a lemon, but I'm not sure. I've shown it close up in the second photo so that you can make your own determination!

This wall pocket was probably made sometime in the 40s or 50s. It measures 5 3/4" tall by 5 1/4" wide. It stands out about 2" from the wall when hung. There are two holes to hang it from, as can be seen in the pictures.

There is an area at the edge of one of the leaves that looks like a repair was made. It was repainted and hardly shows from the front. I've shown it in photo three. There is a little bit of crazing on the back, which you may be able to see in the 5th photo.

It's really in very good vintage shape. Please note that the whitish area at the top of one leaf that can be seen from the front is not a chip, but a light area of glazing. I can find no defects on the front of the wall pocket.
