Old school mola making in bold rich colors. Our mola fish is beyond fabulous!

Beautifully hand sewn reverse applique by a very gifted Kuna Indian artist in 'Kuna Yala', The San Blas Islands, Panama.. using the same time honored techniques handed down from Kuna mother to daughter for generations.

A terrific, one of a kind tribal textile in gorgeous, rich colors. Note those great lines, cuts and those awesome fins! Check out the textural embroidery.. puts the finishing touches on this gem of a small mola.

• Size : approx 8 1/4 " across x 8 " rectangle
• Condition: new.. excellent!!
• Fabric layers: 2 +
• bottom layer: rich lime green
• 2nd layer: rich red fish / jet black background
• More colorful applique on top of that
• Stitching: excellent!
• Style: true mola, traditional reverse applique
