This listing is for a single sample of our quality 5x7” pocketfold envelopes ONLY. Please do not try to use this listing to bulk order as it will work out more expensive due to the way shipping works (see Postage Note below). Please see our other listings for each colour for bulk ordering. Images of flat pocketfolds show the outside/good side. When folded, the pocket is on the inside right.

Opt to have an **envelope and pre-cut twine included. We will be happy to glue one sample per order, please just add a note.

Available in a range of different colours for creating your own invitation packs. They are cut to size and pre-creased ready for easy assembling with either double-sided sticky tape or glue. POSTAGE NOTE
Due to the way shipping is added on Etsy, it is not possible to set a shipping price that applies for a single sample as well as for more than one. For this reason, samples are priced low as the shipping you will be charged compensates for the cost of that sample. The shipping will be applied for each sample ordered. This is not an error. Please get in touch if you require more information.

SIZING
When folded the portrait pocketfolds fit neatly into a 5x7" envelope. We also have Mini A6, Oversize A6, Large A5 and some square sizes available. Please get in touch for details. Here are some further measurements:

Closed the pocketfold measures 12.7cm x 17.cm on the outside
Front flap is approximately 6.4cm to its point
Height of the inside flap is 6.1cm rising to 9.8cm at the sides

RECOMMENDED INSERT SIZING
Cards that will fit inside as per our Pocketfold Invitation listings are:
Invitation is approx. 11.6 x 16.6 cm
Additional Card A/Large is approx. 11.6 x 16.6 cm (same size as invitation)
Additional Card B/Medium is approx. 11.6 x 13.6 cm
Additional Card C/Small is approx. 11.6 x 10.6 cm

Where there are 4 additional cards, we resize the middle 2 cards:
Invite & Card A same as above
Card B/Medium is approx. 11.6 x 14.6 cm
Card C/Small is approx. 11.6 x 12.6 cm
Card D/Smallest is approx. 11.6 x 10.6 cm

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLING
Assembling requires nothing more than glue or double-sided sticky tape, time, and patience! We find the best way is to use a good quality double-sided sticky tape as it holds better.

Sticky Tape: Lay the pocketfold out on a flat surface with the smoother/good side up. Carefully stick your tape onto each of the 2 small flaps and trim it, leaving a few mm around the edges. Turn the pocketfold over and fold the 2 flaps in. Peel off the backing tape and fold the pocket up to press it into place.

Gluing: Lay the pocketfold out on a flat surface with the smoother side down. Fold the 2 small flaps in and then fold the pocket up. Use the closed Pritt stick, lid down, to crisp the folded edges. This will make it easier when gluing. Open the pocket and apply glue to the 2 small, folded flaps. Fold the pocket back up and press together. Place a weight, such as some heavy books on it and leave it for a few minutes to allow the glue to dry.

Once dry you can glue your invitation to the central section and tuck any other cards into the newly created pocket. Fold the whole thing closed and finish with twine, a magnet, or a sleeve (all of which are available from us). We can create personalised tags and sleeves and even the invitation cards. We also have Ivory, Warm Pink, Pearlescent Gold and Pearlescent Silver envelopes available which are great as a contrast or to compliment your invites. They are not exact matches to any pocketfolds.

Sample pocketfolds are normally dispatched in 1 – 3 working days. Please be aware that postal delays are out of our control! We always dispatch in a timely manner. Please select the tracked delivery option if you do not wish to risk a long wait to receive your sample.
