Unheated (fancy) tanzanite is not an easy find. 95% of tanzanite is heated to bring out the purple and drive out the brownish tones. But some stuff comes out of the ground beautiful enough to leave it in its natural state. This is one such pair. The color is very hard to describe but it's mostly green, with olive overtones, and a little purplish blue in them depending on the light (they are more blue in daylight - see pix - and more green in incandescent light)... The gems are definitely di-chronic, meaning different colors are exhibited from different sides.

Specs:

Shape: Round
Dimensions: 5 mm each
Combined Weight: 1.06 ct combined
Color: Greenish with some blue in it
Clarity: IF
Origin: Tanzania
Treatment: None (!)
Price per carat: $100
Price for the stones: $106

Do you need a gemstone certificat with this pair? I can supply a mini cert (which provides authenticity of the gem and a guarantee that it is untreated) for $20. A complete cert (for appraisal) is $40. The cert will come from Gemlabs (a GIA costs $200). Turnaround time is about a week. The gems get dropped off for measurement and photos, then I pick them up a few days later.

You have a two week inspection period with these gems, during which you can return them, no questions asked. Custom orders are non-refundable, however. I can make earrings out of those (prong set only - I do NOT recommend trying to bezel them, tanzanite is a softer stone and can break). For simple sterling studs, add $30, for gold add $80 because these are larger (my cost will most likely be about $80).
