This is an antique, hand-cut, clear glass, flat panel toothpick holder.

Salvaged from my grandmother's old village house, it is dated circa 1930s, and used to be one of her favorite tableware items.

The toothpick holder has two main characteristics. It has a glass-embossed mark of two flying swallow birds on its external bottom part.

Moreover, the glass texture resembles that of a snake skin. The toothpicks lay flat instead of standing up right into the holder.

This piece of flatware is quite heavy and measures about 3.9" (10 cm) in length, 1.6" (4 cm) in width, and 1.2" (3 cm) in height.

Due to daily usage, it has suffered a couple of light inner cracks, which do not affect its shape and usability. Taking into consideration its age, this ornate toothpick holder is in overall nice vintage condition.

A lovely collectible for antique glass lovers!
