This gorgeous genuine Art Deco piece is collector's dream. It is hallmarked EIFCO Sterling, which is the E.I. Franklin company. The firm of E. I. Franklin & Company was established in 1874 and manufactured of gold filled and silver jewellery. The company was in business until 1922 so this Art Deco bracelet dates to the 1920s or earlier.

This piece has not been tested because the is age and value makes this process risky, we would not want to damage the item in any way, but it is marked sterling and we believe it to be sterling. The stones are most likely paste or rhinestone, this was the common materials used for this art deco style of bracelet in this period and this would make it true to the era. The detail of the filigree work is exquisite. The piece has a lovely natural patina that has developed over the almost 100 years it has been worn and it adds to the beauty of the bracelet. This vintage art deco bracelet is 18.5 cm in length, 7mm in width and weighs 10.9 grams. The clasp is very secure, it takes a bit of work to get the piece off once it is secured and so its owner should note that care should be taken when fastening and unfastening the bracelet.
