Here is a black and white lithographic illustration of costume design. They bear the copyright mark of William Finkeldey and they date early 20th century (1933). They were produced in America. An illustration of an illustration of an archbishop.

Some history relating to the illustrator is as follows: Philadelphia Lithographers: Schnabel & Finkeldey (Edward Schnabel (b. ca. 1819) and John F. Finkeldey) Edward Schnabel was born around 1819 in Germany. He worked as a lithographer in Philadelphia in the 1850s. In 1853 Schnabel joined Morris H. Traubel, Theodore Leonhardt, and John F. Finkeldey in a short-lived firm they called the Lithographic Institute. Schnabel and Finkeldey were later together in the firms of Schnabel and Finkeldey, and Schnabel, Finkeldey and Demme. The signature in the print is a descendant of John, namely William.
