This totally gorg-o ring has the best of both worlds the sleek and yet feminine design of the ART DECO/1920s era and also has the lovely style of the Victorian Era Snake ring.

In the 1920s, they started really digging on the Victorian style of jewelry and putting it in their own jewelry design...it's known as Victorian Revival jewelry.

The snake symbolized ETERNAL LOVE and the symbol was used a lot for engagement rings in the Victorian Era.

Set on the top of the snake's head is a genuine Pinkish Red Spinel and a Sparkly Green Tourmaline (both tested)

The eyes are most likely ruby and emerald, but too small to be tested. My jeweler is not GIA certified, but in his opinion are small rubies and emeralds.

Circa 1920s

Not marked but tested positive for 14K Gold

It appears that the green tourmaline has been buffed out at one point and is at a bit of an odd angle (see 2nd pic). There are no chips or cracks in the larger stones, but two small nics in the green emerald eyes (can only be seen with a loupe), and one appears to be replaced in antiquity. Some wear with use and age but this ring is in excellent shape.

Ring Size 8- Can be re-sized at your local jeweler

Face of ring is approx. 10mm x 16mm (head to head across)
Both Tourmaline and Spinel are approx. 3mm in diameter
The eyes are approx. 1mm in diameter

Weight: 2.2
