Beautiful folk art pottery bowl/pie plate.

Smoky Mountain scene painted in blue, green and beige speckled glazes.

A vintage piece made by Alun Ward of Blue Ridge Pottery. This was made in 1987 at his original studio, The Potter's Loft, in Franklin, North Carolina. The piece has fluted edges and is asymmetrical.

Very tactile - burlap seems to have been used randomly on the piece. The texture of the cloth can be seen and felt. (Look at third photo on the right.)

A charming display piece.
