A print from an antique travelogue (think "travel blog" today), showing the Garden of Gethsemane in Jerusalem.

The print comes from "Those Holy Fields: Palestine", published In London in 1874, and is one of many detailed pen and pencil illustrations in the book, showing various scenes from the Holy Land. Drawn by the author, Rev. Samuel Manning, who undertook the trip "to compare the Land and the Book" and to "illustrate the histories of Scripture".

The full print is shown in the last photo. The other photo shows a closeup from the print.

In very good condition and blank on the reverse.

This is the original print from the book, not a reproduction! Bananastrudel sells only originals.
