What a great invention Yarn bowls are for keeping your yarn from escaping.
This one was born on the wheel out of a lump of stoneware clay and squared. After it was dry enough to trim, the door was cut out and teased open, then re-enforced. Stairs and windows are carved and smoothed. Windows cut out and smoothed. Bisque fired and then glazed with black walnut and Amber . It is a nice size measuring 6 1/2" in diameter and stands 3" tall. Signed and dated and looking for a good home. These make a great gift for your knitting/crocheting friends.
