This beautiful Takito of Japan lustreware combines soft yellow and celadon green. The set features weeping cherry motif.
All pieces are marked on the bottom with Takito Company of Japan imprint.
Takito was founded in 1880 and closed it's doors in 1948, following WWII.

This set includes tea pot, cream and sugar, five luncheon plates, five saucers and four tea cups.
All are in great condition but one tea cup with tiny chip
This came from a local estate sale. It had been in the family since the 1930's.
The woman selling it said, "It belonged to my great grandmother. She only used it for "special company."

Such a beautiful set. The cups are so delicate they are nearly transluscent.
