2 3/4 yards - In the Highlands of Guatemala today many Mayans weave as a way to cloth themselves and as a way to make money for their families. Weaving is an art which has been a distinctive part of their culture since before the arrival of the Spaniards. This fabric is an example of the continuation of that tradition. The turquoise background is intersected with stripes of black and yellow that add an interesting depth to an already beautiful color. Because this fabric is hand woven, it is 36 inches wide. The fabric is sold by the yard. I actually only have 2 3/4 yards of this fabric left. If you're interested in all of it, please convo me. :-)
