This is 4 ounces of divine mix Polwarth and Silk top. The blend is 85% Polwarth and 15% Silk. The Polwarth is an old sheep from Australia; it is one quarter Lincoln and three quarters Merino.

Their wool is long, soft and very fine. The micron of Polwarth is between 22 - 26. Because there is so much Merino in the breeding of this sheep, it's wool is very similar to Merino, but more open due to a longer staple length of 4.5 to 6 inches. This is heavenly to spin and is fabulous for next to the skin projects.

This is my Seafoam color. It was developed during a dye pot mishap and I fell in love with the color!

All items should be hand washed and dried.

I use professional acid dyes on all my fibers.

I make every effort to realistically photograph my fibers. However, different monitors perceive colors differently, as does the human eye. I accurately describe my colors as best as possible. Please feel free to ask any questions.
