This listing is for a vibrant pair of 19th century plates.
They are made of fine white porcelain, hand decorated with a black border edged in gold and covered in gold spots, above numerous red and yellow flowers.
These plates would be lovely for serving little delicacies or just as ornaments.
They were made by Sampson Bridgwood and Sons at Anchor Pottery, Longton, Staffordshire, in 1885, and the pattern name is ‘Glen’.
Their condition is very good, with no chips cracks or restoration. Size – 7”
