The Story of Mount Rainer National Park by C. Frank Bockman. Paper back pamphlet style booklet about Mount Rainer National Park. Published by Mount Rainer National Park Natural History Assosiation.

Book starts with the first explorers in the area. The second chapter talks about early settlers around puget sound and the area. Chapter three talks about the development of the park. Chapter four goes into the earliest and most notable ascents of Mount Rainer. Chapter five discuses scientific research in the park. Very well written with lots of interesting stories.

Many lovely black and white photos throughout. Back cover has a map by the Washington Art Project. 63 pages long.

Book is in good vintage condition. Only mild dicoloring of the paper. Bottom right corner has small fold in cover and several pages. Booklet isn't crumpled, but isn't exactly perfectly crisp either... very mild and hard to describe. Overall good though.
