About the Book: This hard-to-find hardcover book is a Franklin Watts Library Edition. It was published in 1974 by Franklin Watts, New York. It contains 32 pages, all with gorgeous full color illustrations. Book measures 11" inches (width) x 8.75" inches (length) x .25" inches (deep).

In good vintage condition with some faint finger print marks or smudges on some pages and a small 0.5" inch tear on the last page.

About the author: Brian Wildsmith is considered to be one of the greatest living children's illustrators of our times. He was born and raised in Yorkshire England in the 1930's, which greatly influenced his work, particularly his use of bright vibrant colors. He received the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1962 for his first children's book, ABC. Currently he resides in the South of France.
