I suppose this is the type of shoe you get when you take a sensible loafer and give it sweet girly appeal with curvy back boulevard heels, gracefully rounded pointy toes, & luscious red leather, smooth and sleek with a soft glossy finish ... really quite delightful ~

These smartly-styled red leather heels were made by Polly Preston in the 1940s (possibly late 30s even -- the shape of these is nearly identical to Dorothy's famous ruby slippers.)
They're in excellent condition with almost no wear to speak of, except for a little bit of scuffing at the back of the heels, and oddly enough, two small pin marks on the heels, as shown in picture 4. The outer edge of the tongue is pushed in a bit, but this goes away once the shoes are on your feet. Structurally, they are strong and sturdy, and all in all, simply brimming with vintage sweetness ♥
