An unmounted stamp is the rubber that is usually mounted on a clear or wooden block. Requesting unmounted is leaving just a rubber piece with no mounting at all. Certain crafts and projects require the stamp to come this way, however we don't offer up our stamps unmounted unless requested otherwise.
No. The stamp will be the same price being mounted or unmounted.
The difference is simple. Both stamps are made from the same material except one is mounted on a wooden block, and one is mounted on a clear piece of acrylic block.
A self-inking stamp is definitely the most popular when it comes to stamping. The reason being it is easy and effective! All you need is the stamp and your paper, there is no ink-pad needed! We love self-inking stamps mostly for their crisp and clear impressions, along with their long lasting life. You should get about 10,000 impressions before having to re-ink! (not recommended for glossy surfaces)
