I'm selling part of my collection of Jeff Reddick watercolors. I bought pieces from his niece who told me about him. Mr. Reddick is an African-American man who is up in age now and does not paint anymore. Apparently he stopped painting in the 1980's sometime. He had been painting all his life, but never received any formal training. He grew up in Williamston,N.C. You can see from this piece his love for vibrant color and nature.

This piece is a charming scene of a large house with horses in pastures all around. He uses a lot of pinks and reds to unify the painting. It looks like he has also included two ladies sitting out under an umbrella. We also see an American Flag blowing in the wind. It measures 11" tall x 15 " wide. It appears to be painted on a medium weight white watercolor paper that has glue residue on the back. All of his pieces were glued to cardboard, so I peeled them off as best I could to keep them from being destroyed by it. I'll also post a picture of the back so you can see whole piece.

This is a charming vibrant work that can be enjoyed for years to come.

If you are interested in overseas shipping I can check into prices if you ask. Thanks.
