32x40 inches. Pastel and charcoal drawing on acid-free paper. Like most of the work shown here this is another attempt to move from hard-edged abstraction to a more organic abstraction. Today I've moved all the way to naturalism and no longer do strictly abstract work. In all of my work of this time the title came as the work neared completion. In this drawing the central shape reminded me of an odalisque.

As I progressed with this style of work I also became interested in adding a sense of space and depth. This work includes that.

Please note that due to the size of this work shipping is unusually expensive.
