This is a beautiful hand painted Macao Ginger Jar with Lid. The mark within the frame is written in zhuanshu (archaic seal script); which reads Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi. It is translated as "Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made"

The three characters beneath the seal are read as Ao Men Zao, which translates to "Made in Macao".

Circa 1960's

The jar measures about 6" in height with the lid and has a circumference of 16 3/4" at the widest point. This item is in great condition with no chips or cracks.
