This tea towel is easy to date accurately, as it commemmorates the introduction of decimal currency in Britain- Feb 15th, 1971.

I found it in unused condition, still starched. It has been washed ONCE, to freshen up after long term storage. Being stored away, it's colours have remained unfaded - terracotta brown, white and aqua. The fabric is textured cotton. The design features 2 lions in a "coat of arms", decimal currency conversion table, the bank of England building, and various coins.

Great for the coin collector or retro kitchen collector.

19 X 29 inches.
