Antique spice tin with bright graphics. The Three Crow Brand by the Atlantic Spice Company was a company founded by John Bird in Rockport Maine at the end of the 19th century. He imported spices and packaged them under his brand. Some of the Three Crow Tins come out of Rockport and some come from Bangor. This empty tin measures 3X2.25X1 inches with rounded edges. The front and back have the three crows on a fence line with the text "Three Crow Brand 1 1/2 OZ. Net Allspice The Atlantic Spice Co. Bangor, ME." Photos show the front, top, bottom, seam side and back. On the back side the head of one of the crows is a bit faded. The narrow sides have no text...just a darker yellow panel with a blue stripe with white dots on top and bottom. The slide top still slides and the bottom is still quite shiny. This little tin with wonderful litho graphics is in amazing condition for being about 100 years old.
I also have a larger cream tarter tin made by the same company with similar graphics in the shop and will be happy to give you a combined shipping quote.
