HOW STEEL IS MADE was put out by US Steel in 1972 to promote their products and educate clients and students about the steel making process. Everything is here including: Iron Ore, Coke, Limestone, Pig Iron, Steel Rod and a short filmstrip that talks about the process. I have not seen the film so I can not make any claims as to it's quality. Collected at a Connecticut estate sale. Size of box: approx. 8.5 inches x 10 inches. The sample containers are each 3 inches tall. These kits are pretty rare. They did not make many of them and not many survived in good condition. Check out the photos.

Thanks for visiting the Quirk Museum Shop.
