Chicken Print Microwave Bowl Cozy: Reversible Hot or Cold Bowl Holder

KimberleeEmporium
5 out of 5 stars

Item highlights

  • Materials: cotton fabric, cotton batting, microwaveable

Seller's description

Chicken Microwave Bowl Cozy is great for holding your (human) bowl of food while you are sitting in front of the TV. Take it from the microwave to your lap. It can also be used as a hot pad to protect your table or to pass a bowl of hot food. Don't forget...it can also hold a cold bowl of ice cream.

The cozy is a 10.5" 100% pre-washed fabric square that is fitted to form around a bowl (about 8.5"). The mug I use in the sample picture is 6" diameter. The insulation is double thick, microwaveable batting. The entire cozy is double stitched so it won't separate after washing. It is also reversible.

Here is a little poem to help you remember how to use it:

Before you heat your bowl of food
Like chili, soup or the beef that was stewed
Place your bowl in the 'pot' holder and into the microwave it goes
To remove, just grab the corners...no more burnt fingers or toes
Or maybe a bowl of ice cream is more to your pleasing
Use the 'pot' holder to keep your fingers from freezing!

I have many fabrics available. Let me know if you don't see what you are looking for!

When using in the microwave, be sure to include a bowl with food in the cozy. Do not put the cozy in the microwave by itself. Cook for no more than 2-3 minutes at a time.

Wash by hand or in the washing machine. Allow to air dry.

It is very cute, I bought the chicken pattern. I keep it by microwave when taking out hot bowls and use to serve without using a hotpad.
