Would make a great stocking stuffer for the lover of all things vintage!
This listing is for a set of 4 lovely slightly tarnished forks. I know they have some silver and I am assuming they are silver plated, not solid. William Rogers became part of International Sterling in 1898 I believe so all I can say is that these would be after that. The AA stands for Anchor which was a marking from the mid 1800s. Based on the style and the fact that AA is still on there, I would image these are from the early 1900s but not sure. Art Deco or Nouveau style to the wheat like rows on the handle and geometric flower like motif on the lower handle.
Bottom line, these are gorgeous and I do not see why anyone would want to polish theme. The patina is so charming with colors of silver, charcoal gray, and some hints of a golden copper color. I love them as they are. Use them for a vignette in a dining room or on a bedroom dresser (look pretty just being), to serve with at Thanksgiving, to actual use for an antique flavor serving dessert for 4, some people bend and work these into amazing bracelets, place them in a shadow box with doilies, photos, etc from the same era....
They are heavy, much heavier than silverware feels today. The tines on the forks seem larger also. They are 7 9/16" long and 15/16" wide at the base of the tine fork section.
Shipping is for mainland U.S. and includes tracking. Convo for shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or outside U.S.
If you want insurance, it would be $1.95 extra but you need to convo for that before checking out.

In my shop SeaSeaRider, I have quite the eclectic mix, much but not all has a sea/beach theme. I have original Sea Shingle signs of mine which look as though they have been hanging in the salt air, incorporating vintage letterpress images. (These are hand done using real vintage/antique letterpress wood type from my collection.) I also have original painting and sea jewels. Lots of vintage in my shop from old shells & coral, to bird and botanical bookplates, wonderful seashell bookplates (all great for framing), glass, books, a plethora of vintage CHRISTMAS & Valentines, ephemera, etc. Lots to inspire you to create or decorate or find a gift for that hard to buy for lover of the sea or vintage items. Come sea! (:
