I must have flowers, always, and always. ~ Claude Monet

Meet Sweety. She is a small white feeder mouse who was, until a short time ago, destined to become a reptile's dinner. Instead, she's been metamorphosed into this sweet little imp through chemical-free anthropomorphic taxidermy. She's affixed firmly to her base and has a reconstructed polymer clay tail.

Anthropomorphic taxidermy is the practice of displaying taxidermic animals as if they are engaged in human activities. -A popular art form during the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

Rest assured that no mouse is ever killed specifically for this process. They are frozen feeder animals that have been raised in captivity and are intended as food for snakes, lizards, or fish. They would have been discarded if not sold.
