Vintage lapis blue Chinese cloisonne oblong beads with raised gold. Elegant looking, rare and unusually shaped lapis blue cloisonne beads that have beautiful raised red turquoise and green flowers on gold enamel.

These beads are the same as my item no. CLO-033 except that those are white cloisonne.

These beads lend themselves beautifully to bracelets and earrings! The detail on them is amazing and like nothing that is made nowadays in China.

We purchased these beads during one of our earliest buying trips to China and I 100% guarantee these beads to be vintage from the early 1980s'.Price is for 4 of these beads which measure approximately 22mm x 7mm.

I sold many such magnificent cloisonne beads through the Smithsonian Institution's museum shop and mail order catalog during the 1980's and they were also featured in trunk shows at Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue during this same time period.

You'll never see beads like this nowadays at your neighborhood "gem show"!
