This beautiful vintage mantilla or veil is made of soft white lace, perhaps alencon lace, with a heavy woven floral design. Scalloped edges with baroque scrolls and shells surround a large central spray of roses. Though the edges are slightly worn, this does not affect the integrity of this lovely piece, which is freshly washed and ready to be worn.

Circa 1950s-60s
Made of rayon/nylon?
Measures about 17 x 45 inches; 27 inches along on the shorter sides of the triangle
Condition: maybe half a dozen tiny breaks in the mesh, but nothing serious; the edges are very slightly frayed in places; otherwise excellent

All our vintage scarves have been washed and pressed.
Please remember that vintage items are not new and often not perfect, and that they have had a long life of their own before they entered ours.
