DAEDALUS AS A BOY is sure to get some attention when it is worn as a necklace. When you are not wearing it, hang it on the wall as a unique piece of art.....again, even then, it's bound to get some attention.

Who is Daedalus? might ask. He was the father of Icarus who flew too close to the sun in Greek mythology. Daedalus was an architect, artist, inventor .....he even invented the labyrinth to hold the minotaur bull. This is one of my favorite images that I've ever worked with. To me DAEDALUS AS A BOY represents personal flight....rising above our burdens....going lightly and buoyantly on our journey.

DAEDALUS AS A BOY is photo etched sterling silver and copper and is on a 20" snake chain. From wing tip to wing tip he is 4.75" wide and 3.75" tall and is signed on the back. WA residents will be charged 8.6% sales tax. All work is copyrighted by Shane Miller.
