A vented jar to keep your garlic fresh and handy.

Hand Thrown from a white stoneware; it features vintage illustrations of one of the Coreopsis species, commonly known as tickseed or calliopsis. I've incorporated a ponderosa pine twig for the handle.

It measures about 5-1/8" at its widest, and 4-1/4" tall. You should be able to store 2 to 3 bulbs in it depending on their size.

The botanical images are from Britton, N.L., and A. Brown - An illustrated flora of the northern United States, Canada and the British Possessions published in 1913. They were permanently applied with a third firing.

I signed the bottom with my studio name "Just Mare."
