Fern Fossil
North Eastern Pennsylvania, USA

Measures: 4 x 5.2 x .7 inches
Weight: 430 grams

These aesthetically pleasing fern fossils are museum grade specimens with several different species perfectly preserved in intricate detail. These specimens exhibit highly detailed fossils on both sides in perfect relief.

both sides pictured with fossils on both sides.
Totally natural, not painted on, coated with sealer, not altered in any way.
They have been carefully extracted and cleansed with pure mountain spring water.

The host stone is soft and can be drilled with a regular drill bit in order to mount this specimen vertically on the wall. Another way I like to display them is with a "plate holder", a metal rig designed to hang a plate on the wall which works very well for these medium to large size fern fossil slabs.

I live a short distance from the type locality for these fossils and have the very best material available. If you want to see quality fern fossil specimens the likes of which have not been on the market in a long time, please contact me.
