Offered for consideration is a vibrant amber orange (true amber glass, not painted / flashed) Italian blown glass hanging lamp. Inside the globe is a metal light diffuser for added dramatic effect.

The glass is in excellent condition with NO chips and NO cracks. There are a few minor scratches on close exam, but nothing glaringly obvious unless looking for them up close. The brass chain has some typical discoloration from age, but no rust or corrosion.

appx 12" diameter at widest x 12" high including decorative hardware

appx 12' of chain and 13'+ of cord to hang with

Plugs into an existing outlet and has an inline rotary switch for turning on and off.

The wiring and socket are original. It was looked over and the lamp tested in good working order. There is no apparent cracking or exposed wire on the cording.

***It is still always advised that buyers should have a professional examine a lamp that retains it's original vintage wiring.

the specific maker is unknown, but this is Empoli glass. There were several US companies importing Empoli glass in the 50s - 70s. Rossini, Guildcraft and Vimax to name a few. Empoli is a town located about 12 miles Southwest of Florence, Italy and is known for their glass making. Empoli glass is frequently misattributed as being Murano.
