A wonderful old vest or waistcoat from Raleigh Haberdasher in Washington.
Also called Raleigh's, it was founded in 1911 and sold high end men's and women's furnishings.

This vest is from the 1910s or early 1920s.

It has four buttonholes in front and four eyelets where you would attach your buttons with a clip. No buttons found with this vest. It has two pockets in the front.

It is heavy textured cotton in the front. It is lighter weight cotton in the back with a raised vertical stripe.
There are satin strips at the shoulders.

It has a belt in the back. There is a button and buttonhole on one side where you would have attached a buckle of some sort. No buckle found with this vest.

Measurements were taken with garment flat.
Across the front, armpit to pit, about 20".
Across the waist, about 18".
Length down center of the back, about 18".
Length in front, from shoulder down to the point in front, about 20".

In wonderful vintage condition for such an old garment! There are a few spots in back, by the neckline and on the back near the hem, and a few on the belt. This is white cotton so these probably could be removed with some care.
