This is a wonderful antique brass garden sprinkler "The Ross" No. 10, Patented December 9, 1924 as marked on the sprinkler head, manufactured in Pasadena, California. Rarely do the old antique brass sprinklers ever surface today, specifically in this beautiful condition. This is a rare one, one of the very first original Ross sprinklers with the patent date marked on the sprinkler. The sprinkler is marked the same on both from and back of the sprinkler. The sprinkler nozzle works and is very efficient, so much more than what we see today! I am a big fan of the "fan sprinkler" and "The Ross" was and still is an excellent garden tool that is a necessity. The sprinkler is in excellent condition with no dings, dents, cracks or splits. It functions perfectly and is ready for use today. You can see from the photos that a new washer has been added at some point in time, along with a bit of garden dirt. The sprinkler does of course show age appropriate wear which is normal (it is nearly 90 years old). The fan sprayer sprinkler measures 4" in height by 5 1/4" inches across the sprinkler head. Overall, this is a beauty for the avid gardener and anyone who enjoys vintage and antique garden tools!

The sprinkler will ship USPS.
