This is a fabulous vintage 40's one piece dress pattern. "Bold seam detail is the focal point of interest on the bodice. Sleeves and bodice are cut in one. Smooth shoulders are without pads. Slim five-piece skirt has a smart peg-top. Three tones of one color (B) gives a very distinctive effect." This Butterick pattern is without a printed copyright date, but I believe the date of pattern is approximately 1949. A vintage size 12 pattern with a 30 inch bust, 25 inch waist and 33 inch hips. This unprinted, perforated pattern is complete with the original 11 pattern pieces and original instruction sheet. This pattern is unused and factory folded. I inspected for pattern completeness; therefore, the order of pattern pieces and fold lines may have changed a bit. A Butterick pattern numbered 4788. My patterns are carefully shipped between two boards for protection and in an acid free and archival safe enclosure.

CONDITION---The envelope is in fair/poor vintage condition with discoloration and a splattering of stains. The edges are worn and have splits and cracks. Upper flap fold has perpendicular cracks. Upper back edge of envelope has a tear. The instruction sheet is in very good vintage condition with discoloration due to age. The pattern is usable and in very good vintage condition. The pattern has some discoloration and has a small edge tear.

PATTERN SHIPPING-Whenever there is an overcharge of .75 cents or more on the shipping cost I will do a partial refund thru pay pal.

Domestic-When you purchase multiple patterns the individual shipping and handling cost is less. It costs approximately .35 cents to ship the 2nd pattern. This cost of .35 cents usually covers the individual cost of shipping a pattern up to approximately 6 patterns.

International--When you purchase multiple patterns the individual shipping and handling cost is less. IT isn't quite as easy to give a quote for the shipping and handling cost of additional patterns, but the cost for multiple shipping is significantly less. Sometimes it's actually zero cost to ship another pattern because it's in the same weight range.
