These gorgeous mid-century candle holders by Pal Bell / Maurice Ascalon c. 1950's have elegant, streamlined, modernist lines. The pair is cast in bronze with beautiful, smooth verdigris finish, and brass accents on the drip plates and sockets. The pair has a sophisticated, quality feel and looks fantastic on a credenza, mantel or bookshelf. Will make a superb addition to any Pal Bell or a mid-century modernist decorative objects collection.

Very good to excellent condition with some minor signs of age on the finishes. The "Zohar" 681 candle holders are among several Pal Bell designs that did not have the Pal Bell mark imprinted on the outer metal surfaces as there was no spot to place the mark. (See this URL for a copy of the original catalog page featuring this model: http://pal-bell.com/_wsn/page3.html)

each candle holder is 9 1/8" tall; 3 1/2" diameter on the bottom; 2 3/8" drip plate diameter.
