This blue ceramic plate is great for grating ginger or garlic. It has enough of a rim to add some olive or and dip right in. It is made of white stoneware clay and is wheel thrown in my own studio. I added the grater surface while it is wet. I trimmed it on the wheel. It is glazed in chun blue and the grating surface wiped to expose the texture. It is fired to cone 10 (2380 Deg F) in an reduction environment.

This listing is for one grater plate only.
The plate measures 5 inches around and the grating surface measures 2.5 inches around. The plate measures .5 inches high. The last picture shows a matching mortar and pestle set.
