I've gotten so many compliments on my scrappy scarves over the years that I decided I would start including them in my etsy store. Each scarf takes between 12 and 36 hours to knit.

This is a one of a kind patch-work scarf made from 11 different colors (each color is used twice) of scrap yarn. It is approximately 3.5 - 4.5 inches wide and about 7.5 feet long. This enables it to be worn many different ways - wrapped around double with the ends pulled through the loop, wrapped around several times, wrapped around once and left to drape, etc. It can even be worn as a loose shawl. The yarn used in this project is leftover yarn from other knitting projects I’ve completed so in that way it's eco-friendly too. :) I’ve been knitting for over 10 years and over the years, as one can imagine, I have accumulated a lot of extra yarn. To my surprise, of everything I’ve knitted, I get the most compliments on and commission requests for my patch-work scarves.

PLEASE NOTE: People who are allergic to wool should not wear this scarf. I use yarn that may contain sheep, llama, and alpaca wool, mohair and/or angora, cotton, acrylic, nylon, linen, rayon, and various blends. Due to the process and types of yarn I use, I usually can’t accommodate requests for wool-free scarves but if you are flexible about the number of colors, please message me - we may be able to work something out.

Also, as a side note, I’ve found that some people like to know what projects the yarn was used for (i.e. I used the blue mohair to make a scarf for my elderly neighbor, I used the tan acrylic to make a baby blanket for the first child of my high school friend, etc). If you’d like, I’m happy to enclose a description of the garments when I send the scarf. Just let me know. :)

Please convo me with any questions and thanks for looking! :)
