I love vintage medallion necklaces from the 1960s and 70s. They instantly recall the era in which they were made, but they are so modern and stylish, still perfectly wearable today. You can build an entire outfit around the right necklace. This beauty is especially nice, of exceptional quality and not so big as to seem costumey. The creamed spinach disk is Lucite, very similar to what you might see in Bakelite, but with smokey white marbling. The center "monogram" doesn't say anything; it's just a squiggle of cursive-y lines hinting at letters. The goldtone frame has a stepped border with a vaguely Egyptian-looking geometric pattern. The entire medallion measures 2" diameter, with the Lucite piece measuring 1 7/16". The chain measures 22" long not including the clasp. The pendant is signed "ACCESSOCRAFT" on the back. Accessocraft is a very collectable brand these days, known for their high quality pieces, many of which combine contemporary and historical designs.

The necklace is in excellent condition overall, with just minor surface wear to the Lucite. The metal elements are all shiny and pretty much pristine. The pretty barrel clasp functions just fine.
