This handmade ceramic tea set is wheel thrown from buff stoneware clay and trimmed by hand in my own studio. I then threw the lid and spout, before assembling it. The handle is then pulled and added. It comes with two tea bowl that were also wheel thrown. It is glazed in a peach bloom glaze that blushes where it gets more reduction in the kiln. If this glaze does not get enough reduction, the glaze will not blush at all. The teapot is food safe of course, and microwave and dishwasher safe as well. These pieces were fired to cone 10 (2380 degrees) in a reduction environment, for durability.

The teapot measures 5.25" high with the lid and 3.75 inches without the lid.
It measures 7" across with the handle, with a 5.5 inch belly.
It holds about 16 to 18 ounces and will keep your tea piping hot.

The tea bowls measures 2.5 inches high.
They measure 3 inches around.
They holds 4 ounces, 1/2 cup.

Stoneware pieces are dishwasher safe. Handle them with care when washing to avoid chipping. Once a piece is chipped it is likely that a crack will develop as well, and should no longer be used to heat and serve food.
