DEER EARS (set A)

Dried White-tailed deer ears ready to incorporate into your projects. Prepared with modern taxidermy chemicals and will remain permanently preserved if cared for properly. All animal materials are susceptible to moth and insect damage (just as fur and wool garments are) therefore all of my animal products have been treated with a moth-proofer to help discourage damage (Please be wary of similar items offered elsewhere that have not been professionally prepared and were merely "air-dried" or "salt-dried" – they will attract insects and can decompose over time) Ears have cartilage in them therefore they are stiff like rawhide, not flexible like a tanned leather garment. Buyer receives the actual pair used for the photo (not a stock photo)

As with everything I sell, no animals were killed for the purpose of creating the items I offer. I only use animal materials that would otherwise be thrown away. I believe wasting any part of an animal is disrespectful to Mother Nature, so I recycle every single piece I possibly can. I have been creating shrines, fetishes, and totems from animal remains for over 20 years. To learn more about me, my art, and my credentials, please see my Etsy profile page
