If only you knew how my armoires are brimming with shabby chic treasures here at the chateau! After 28 years of truffling for timeworn treasures in France it has been yet another full year of trawling the brocantes to see what morceau catches my eye. Soooo......it`s the end of the year and as Noel approaches I need to make some room for next years finds. I am going to spend the next few days adding items to my Etsy shop as I sort through them. I never sell reproductions or copies...only the real timeworn treasures I find on my truffling trips!! Voila mes belles!

Here is my blog for the latest news from the chateau www.simply-chateau.blogspot.com

.I love quirky brocante finds and I love even more finding them a new life!!

This shabby chic vintage French corsage flower has the most divine timeworn look.

In soft shades of pale pinks fading to warm cream the linen leaves are lightly foxed and it is perfectly vintage.

The inner stamens have tiny plaster tips and the leaves are full and some gently curled for a perfect realistic appeal.

Wonderful for any period decorative project , a millinery job or simply to wear.

The flower alone measures 5" max in diameter.

Absolutely as edible as a Paris patisserie macaroon !!!

It came to me as part of an attic clearance and was packed away with old linens.

A little French flair for any project!
