The world loves a spice of wickedness. ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Meet Vincent. He is a small black feeder mouse who was, until a short time ago, destined to become a reptile's dinner. Instead, he's been metamorphosed into this little kitchen helper through chemical-free anthropomorphic taxidermy. He's affixed firmly to this vintage (1890's - 1910's!?!) tin of cloves. He has glass eyes and a reconstructed polymer clay tail.

Rest assured that no mouse is ever killed specifically for this process. They are frozen feeder animals that have been raised in captivity and are intended as food for snakes, lizards, or fish. They would have been discarded if not sold.
