Vintage The Gourmet Cookbooks Volume 1 and Volume 2, Gourmet Magazine Cookbooks

These are really stunning cookbooks, both outside and inside. These cookbooks are from the creators of Gourmet Living magazine. They include a combination of complex gourmet dishes and simpler dishes too. Really pretty dark maroon books with gold lettering and detail. The inside pages have beautiful illustrations and pictures. Volume 1 of these books was published in 1951, it was the third printing, volume 2 was published in 1971, it was the third printing. These books are in good vintage condition, no tears to any pages. The bindings are in good condition, one book has just a slight seperation in binding. The covers are good with a little wear on front and volume 2 has a bit of wear on back. They both have close to 800 pages each. Both books have writing on inside page, one is an inscription the other is a written price, I see no other writing or notes in books. These are solid and really are a beautiful sight to see. Anyone would be proud to own and display them.

Each book is 10 inches long and 7.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.

Excellent gift for the foodie or a person who just loves to cook!
