I have a pile of wood, and a pile of metal, and detash from my other shop. Together they have found their way as birds in my garden. I am always decorating my pots on my patio will little creatures. My love of birds and of recycling materials are perched.

These two owls are made of different cedar barn wood and one aged to gray. One on a recycled trellis stick, the other on a steel rod I cut from old stakes for outdoor lamps. Owls 5" high, 2 1/2" wide on stakes make them 16" tall. Perfect for pots outdoors. Their eyes are solid brass tacks from upholstery. The wood triangle beaks are exotic woods from my jewelry making.
