This crazy fun studio pottery snapping turtle, singed Jim Phillips and dated 1983, has just the right look to keep unwanted fingers off your desk paperwork or just as a fun display. He's ready to be "snapped" up! He's handmade stoneware with unglazed legs and tail, the shell is accentuated with a rich green and brown high gloss glaze.

Known for his turtles, Jim Phillips has created this one with a devilish look on his face. This contemporary pottery piece is perfect for a mans office decor or study, on the porch nestled with your plants or as cabin or county cottage decor. The attention to detail such as the tail, toes and expression makes this a super fun piece!

Measurements:
He is 7" tall to the tip of his nose and 4" wide.

Condition:
He is in wonderful condition; no chips, cracks or crazing.
