Robert Swain Gifford (December 23, 1840 - January 13, 1905) was an American landscape painter. He was influenced by the Barbizon school. Some of his works hang in the most prominent galleries in the USA, including the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington DC.

Size of the image: .9" by 6.2"
Size of the plate: approx. 12" by 9"

Perfect to frame and hang on the wall.

In excellent condition. Paper has a light cream color due to age and it is spotless. The back is printed but it doesn´t show through.

This is an ORIGINAL, not a reproduction.
