This wooden spatula saute tool is the perfect tool for stirring vegetables or onions while sauteing as well as scrambling eggs. It is 12 inches long and the blade is 1 1/2 inches wide. The thin blade is hollowed out slightly like a spoon and the edge is thin to get under the food and lift and turn it. The bottom edge is also good for chopping up ground meat while browning. The handle is ergonomically shaped for comfort. The Plum wood came from a tree that blew over in a storm in Center, Colorado. And as for squash and Jalapenos, You've got to try them, saute'ed in butter with some garlic.
